[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I guess this is one of the most typical clichés of a picture from the desert. But who could resist taking a shot like this? This is from the middle of the Sahara on a journey I made on top of a truck in December 1981. With tomorrow's picture I will tell more about what that journey was like.
Scanned from a Kodachrome slide.

Beatutiful photo!!
I think that the horizon line had to be more down and the angle of camera more piked.

HEllo Gert..

Cliched maybe but the first i am seeing..indeed a great capture..the carcass against the barren desert-scape..the sharpness if perfecr..alomst see the tyre marks in the BG..Liked it..tfs

Hej Gert,
Here it is, the dead animal! This is a much better picture than the dead car. A splendid panorama with fine composition! I´m really looking forward to the next photo.

Hello Gert
This image thrill me. The death and sensation of solitude forming part of the landscape. It is irresistible not to make a photo in this place. Nice job.
Greetings,
Pepe

Hej Gert!
You know, judging by the amount of countries you have visited and the photos you have taken, you must have seen a lot...
A lot of good and a lot of evil...
Your kodachrome scans are really great!
I looked into your gallery more carefully, and I must say you are a reporter - a GOOD REPORTER.
I like the composition - great light and a contrast between the good friendly blue sky and the hell-like desert.
Good job, Gert!
Greetings from Poland, Anna
