Photographer’s Note

Very special place in the south of Algeria. People who live below until recently had very little or no contact with outside wall, growing all they need in the fertile belt along the river, 100 km long, inside this barren land.

I love this picture. It seems as though these people are the only sign of civlization for miles and miles. Nice contrast between man and nature. well done

impressive shot once again! Pity the landscape is so blown up... some pp could have brought up some contrast maybe?
