Photographer’s Note

Le taxi jaune, à la New Yorkaise, reste le moyen le plus aisé et rapide pour se déplacer. De la Renault Mégane à la Peugeot 505, les tarifs sont les mêmes : au minimum 50 dinars si le chauffeur dépose près de l’Hôtel de ville; ce qui correspond à environ 0,52 euros pour un trajet de 20 minutes. Le taxi jaune est un privilège quand le salaire mensuel moyen d’un Algérien équivaut à 150 euros

The yellow taxi, like in New YORK, stays the easiest and fast to move. What an amazing aomposition this one is..!!!The partly sunny and then the clouds coming down in the far end with the taxi going on the road...the total effect is great..beautifully seen and very well composed and presented..!!!

Un superbe contraste entre la zone bien éclairée et la zone sous les nuages, le tout dans dans un paysage superbe!!
Le taxi est un bon point d'accroche et s'il avait été mauve, on se serait cru en Irlande!!

Une trés belle lumiére inonde la route et les monts qui la bordent, ce qui contraste trés bien avec la brume menaçante au loin. Belles couleurs.

Interesting note, we really pay to much here in western-europe...as useall.
You picture has great mood with those dark colour tones spreading dark light over the highlighted green and yellow fields. The car make the composition complete...very good.

Belle vue sur ces collines bien verdoyantes et fleuries de jaune, avec un ciel chargé mais un premier plan lumineux et avec de belles couleurs. Bonne netteté et cadrage. Peut etre le taxi est un peu loin?... mais ca n est pas tres important!

Didier, c'est superbe cette lumière d'éclaircie sur ce paysage sublime.
J'aime le dessin de la route qui amène le regard sur le taxi. Le plus de cette photo c'est évidemment les deux reliefs sous une lumière exceptionnelle.

Bonjour Didier, quel bel endroit, on dirai l’Irlande, en lisant ta note cela à l’air simple, vu les prix afficher cela me tente un petit séjour la-bas, peut-on circuler librement et en toute sécurité? Tu as magnifiquement immortalisé ce paysage, cela à l’air assez vallonné sur la droite ne serait point du colza, après la vue de ta photo l’on se sent imprégner de cette belle ambiance picturale, bien amicalement

What a wonderful contrast in light. The fog and the black background serve to enhance the way the light is playing on the undulations in the counrtyside. The taxi on the road is a great extra element in the scene.

Le petit taxi noyé dans le paysage est extra. Le ciel aussi.

I just got jealous. Why does this taxi drive into the depths of a beautiful and mysterious nature, while any taxi takes me into the traffic jungle?
Excellent timing and well balanced difficult light, you definitely look like having used your tripod. The landscape and its graphical features are just lovely. Placing of the taxi is just perfect. Congrats,

What a surprisingly lush landscape for algeria, at least for what I imagined as typical algerian. I like how the green/yellow land seems to glow under the clouds and cliff. Also great note.

Cette photo me fais sourire
J'essaye de vendre ma voiture dans un parc d'occasion, mon voisin qui possédait une vieille 505 a réussi à la vendre pour 200 €, demain elle partira pour le pays, pour être transformée en taxi :)
Intéressante composition on se croirait sur un col dans le Cantal Auvergnat.
J'apprécie cette différence de luminosité et ce bel arrière-plan sombre.
Pour ma voiture c'est neuf mille :)

Un ciel qui rappelle certaines de tes photos du Mustang, mais le jaune du colza (?0 a remplacer le violet du sarrazin. Interessant melange de couleurs avec ce gris fonce le jaune et le vert.

Les collines sont bien verdoyantes et fleuries sous une belle luminosité, le ciel bien chargé accentue l'atmosphère, un bon cadrage et PdV avec la route guidant l'oeuil vers le taxi jaune...

Salut Didier, mais le ciel t'es tombé sur la tete dit moi en Algérie ? T'as ramené une photo de ciel bleu ? ;)
En tout cas peut importe les photos nuageuses sont souvent les plus belles ... là celle ci est vraiment réussie, la luminosité ainsi que le niveau de contraste est top, le rappel entre le champ de colza et le taxi jaune est du meilleur effet, ce taxi meuble bien la scène en bas à gauche. Très joli

J'aime bien cette atmosphère de nuages bien lourds et noirs créant un contraste assez fort avec le bas de l'image éclairé et le champ de fleurs jaunes.

La lumière et les couleurs sont superbes, aussi la netteté, et puis c'est vraiment une incitation à se mettre en route ! J'aimerais un jour pouvoir découvrir l'Algérie, tu nous en donne un portrait très différent des images de désert que bcp d'entre nous en avons !
