Photographer’s Note

At the refugee camp of Dajla in Algeria there is not much ado in the evenings, not even when a strange group of foreing people takes the rythm of the place and smash the routine... Let´s have a walk before the storm of sand gets worst... Enjoy life friends.

You had your subject, it was really good, they were coming staright to your lens... but unfortunately the background won over the subject itself.
The background is so important in photography, that's what makes the difference between an interesting photography (this one) and a great photography. You see that group of women in the top right handside corner? I simply can't remove my eyes fril this group. That's is where your phot oloses strength.

Hi Miguel, the workshop made by Gabriel makes that unwanted attraction gone:). Indeed, as Luko explained, it looks much better without. It is an interesting flock you caught, all those colorful clothes, the almolst invisible heads, if one didn't know, one could think they are going out for a normal walk among girls...Must have been an amazing experience for you.

Dicho lo ya dicho por otros, no puedo ser muy original en algunas cosas. Otra posibilidad (pero solo teórica, en la vida real estás donde estás) habría sido conseguir difuminar el fondo con el zoom, pero claro... tendrías que poder "desaparecerte" y "reaparecer" más lejos... En cualquier caso, los colores son muy atractivos y la extraña voluptuosidad de las formas, sobre todo de la mujer del primer plano chocante. Verdaderamente chocante!

Excellent ! Fashion is so interesting (and beautiful, what colours !)... As I'm more a traveller than a photographer, for me the context counts a lot and so the BG is still very interesting but I agree that the things happening in the far right are a bit distracting.

I like the high horizon and most of all, that splendid pink figure just in front of us, without a face, just this incredible material... Great stuff !
