Photographer’s Note
No, I dont want to bring the issue of the veil in women of islam. Do what you think you have to do with your life as far as you dont want other people to act like you, as far as you dont consider your choice as the only one possible, as the only true.
I bring this photo to TE becasue I like the plastic fo the colors of the veils, playing with the regard of this to woman. The one on the left has kind of birarre border that I ignore where it comes from but that doesnt bother me too much. I hope you like it. Take care.

Saludos, -Hugh

i totally agree with Hugh´s comment, Miguel but on the other hand i also understand how powerful it is to let the debate underligned through negation.
by the way, Hugh and I can stroll around in Salvador. He knows that city better then I do and we both will have the essence of it with him. :D
your images lately have been very moving to me.

Hola Miguel!
;) Jordi

Before reading your note I had understood that it was not about the question of veils and more about the photo itself, colours, textures of the materials etc. This photo is really dense ! The fact that we cannot see the tip of the nose on the left distracts me a bit, I would have cropped even more in that case (leaving just the eye to be seen for instance) but otherwise I like it...
Compliments,
Cath.
(I regret not to understand Spanish here - feel curious about the long text that Hugh has written !)
