Photographer’s Note

This is another shot from my series "Abstract desert".
I took this picture, like this previous one, on our first day in the desert. This dune is leaning against a sandstone formation.

I was attracted by three things :
- the pureness of the sand and the perfect line of the crest
- the rock you see on the upper right side of the picture and which, in my imagination, looks like a human profile.
- the contrast between the dark orange and the light blue separated by the line of rocks.

une photo qui ressemble a payage de libye avec le sable et ces rochers, d'ailleur l'akakous en libye passe la frontiére algerienne, curieux rocher qui ressemble a une tete, l'expo est limite a droite,

Salut Emmanuelle,
Belle image de ces formes désertiques !
Jolies couleurs également.
Bon anniversaire, 30 ans cela se fête...Ce sera mon tour dans 4 mois...
J'ai vu ton projet de trek en juin, je vais un peu voir si c'est possible (je viens de Liège, Belgique)...

il ya matère terrible à composition entre sable, ciel et rocher mais encore faut il trouver l'angle, la lumiere, le bon equilibre:
c'est ici chose faite !
