The composition is very good, there is great balance in the picture between the appartment and the big fat cloud. He seems a bit over-exposed, but light must have been very tricky there.

les nuages sont réellement impressionants!Celui qui est au fond en bas a l'air d'être de la glace pilée!Et la lumière qui arrive sur cet immeuble est splendide!Elle le rendrait presque beau!C'est très bien cadré ,bien équilibré,très chouette à regarder!

Il ne parait pas un endroit très pittoresque, mais en fait c'est une photo exceptionnelle, para la compo, la lumière et ce ciel fantastique. C'est très intéressante comme le bâtiment ensoleillé est balancé par la grande nouage blanche à droite.

Que j'aimerais aller me balader par là ! Ta photo incite au voyage, la belle lumière et cette composition hors normes - je me demande ce qu'il y a devant, on voit des sortes de petits abris, ce lieu semble très intéressant avec ce HLM isolé : très belle photo, avec des nuages "qui parlent" !

Didier,
from all the shots that I saw so far in your collection this is probably the one that didn't make me enthusiastic. The composition is a godd one with a perfect balance between the building, cloud and hill, but the light management isn't good and I see traces of your PP all over the image trying to correct noise, overexposure.

Le résolution ne me semble pas top top, mais l'échelle est géniale et cette opposition immeuble/nuage fonctionne très bien : droites vs courbes, petit vs immense, coin gauche vs coin droit, solide vs gazeux... Très bien vu.

J'adore cette image où l'immeuble moderne assez ordinaire et probablement pas très beau devient magique grâce à la lumière et au ciel.
C'est aussi ça, la photographie. Rendre les choses plus belles qu'elles ne le soient, ou bien trouver le moment de leur splendeur.

The quality of this image is just superb. we see traces of sun everywhere in the photo and it doesnt effect the photo negatively a bit. it s both a shadow and sunny photo which is great

Building and clouds, and a tremendous chance of comparison for incredible sizes...
The desolated apartment which is located almost in an Algerian dune, looks like having survived from the Dooms Day. And the large cloud is likely to resemble those horrible details of a nuclear dooms day. Very impressive share Didier...

Belle photo que le traitement fait ressembler à une peinture. Cette masse nuageuse est impressionnante par rapport à l'immeuble. Belle gestion de la lumière aussi. J'aime bien.

The formation of clouds is incredible, together with the contrast of colours and composition makes this photo a very good piece of work. however, there is something strange on the edge of the hill.

A very striking and powerful shot, Didier.
The sky and clouds are awesome, what amazing contrast. There is a sense of desolation about the isolated apartment block. Your composition, placing the terrain and building at the very bottom, gives the sky and the light the maximum power. Superb.

Les photos en provenance d'Algérie sont plutôt rares alors elles sont toutes bonnes à prendre ! J'aime la composition de celle-ci, notamment du fait du cadrage ainsi qu'en raison de la texture des nuages en bas à droite...

I keep finding your photos on the intro page of Trekearth, and even in the thumbnail the light looks so great I cannot resist opening them :) like here - pure magic! I like a lot how the billowing clouds have both the brigh white and the ink black, I find it adds captivating intensity to the scene. I also like how you have left the sky to dominate over the building and even dwarf it. excellent work, my compliments.
