Hello Noel,
This is one impressive castle. I like the point of view, though I wonder if there is some reason why you didn't move slightly further to the left to include all of the castle, maybe there were cars parked behind the topiary? I like very much the nuances of tone and detail to be observed in the brickwork and the repeating motifs of the windows. The image is pleasantly lit and has superb colours and detail. Thanks for sharing, enjoy the Easter break.

Default To snunney: A handy hedge

Hi Stephen,
Thanks for your comment, always appreciated. Well spotted on the angle, the tree is being used for the purpose of hiding! The back area of the castle is connected to the modern school (1950's modern design has not aged well) and it really took away from the appearance of the old castle, so this convenient hedge hid it nicely!
