Great SnapRJW 2014-02-23 0:22

Hello Benny - I lost two great-uncles in WW1, both of whom lay buried in ground far from their home, and as we commemorate the centenary of the Great(?) War this is a salutatory shot. The neat, manicured rows of tomb stones look so clinical an end to the horrors experienced by the men they commemorate. I appreciate your 'note' which I had to go and listen to immediately ... great band. I hope to visit this place one day. TFS and warm regards Rosemary

Default To SnapRJW: visit

It's an impressive part of Flanders to visit. Right now, though, with the commemoration of the centenary, things seem to go into overdrive, which is sometimes a bit too much. These are not places you'd want to visit in a big group.

With thanks for your appreciation.

Benny
