Great Royaldevon 2014-02-17 11:48

Hello Chris,

Yes, Pompeii has to be seen to be believed. Although such an interesting place, it isn't easy to take shots that will captivate those who have never been there. I think you have done a good job, here, by including Vesuvius as a backdrop, by using tall verticals, by having these long shadows and, lastly including figures for scale and animation. It can be difficult to get shots of this place without crowds swarming around your shots.
Did you get to Herculaneum?
It is even better preserved than Pompeii!

My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Default To Royaldevon: Herculaneum

Unfortunately I didn't have time for Herculaneum. Maybe another visit?
