What with this shadow falling over the shutter on the right? No one even mentioned it, it seems. While such a shadow could destroy an image otherwise, it is not the case here. To the contrary, it enhances the image. Without the shadow the image would still have been nicely symmetrical and in beautiful colours but the shadow "breaks" the symmetry without destroying it and I like that very much. Interesting how the edge of the shadow runs down the centre of the shutter. The fabulously saturated colours are, in conjunction with their shapes and patterns, of course, just beautiful to behold. PS: Oh, and by the way, I am not surprised at the numerous accolades above. It just proves again that beauty is in simplicity.
