Great mcmtanyel 2014-01-26 20:17

Hello Subho,
The repeating patterns of the headstones make this a very compelling photo. The abrupt transition from vegetation to bare hillside is remarkable.
I see that the headstones are engraved in English. Is English still an/the official language of India?
Regards,
MT

Default To mcmtanyel: English

Hello Murat,
We had around 200 years of British rule in India, so English is quiet widely used and is an official language of India. Thanks for your comments.
Regards,
Subho
