Great macjake 2014-01-14 14:03

Hi Noel
another one of these very interesting notes, and a subject that i probably would have otherwise ignored if I were on the road and noticed it.

Your photos from your homeland are always educational.
I wonder how you see the world when you travel, that'll be interesting too....any travel plans in 2014?

wonderful story here, I've learned something new once again. fine photo all around of this unique subject
cheers

Default To macjake: Travel in 2014

hi Craig,
Thanks for the comment! Always a pleasure to read your notes.

I am hoping to do some travel in 2014, but nothing concrete planned just yet. I start a new job next week, so will need a few months at least under my belt before I can get holidays! I imagine I will probably go somewhere quite close to home, so likely the UK. I want to see Blenheim palace, and London and now Birmigham too thanks to malgo's posts, so might try to spend a week there on a driving holiday. So much to see in the UK. I got a copy of the Dorling Kindersley guide to the UK which focuses heavily on castles and abbeys and palaces, and that gave me around 4 million places that I want to see!

With luck, some travel as its a few years since I've left Ireland.

thanks again!
Noel
