Great mcmtanyel 2013-12-18 7:57

Hello William,
Welcome to TE! It is exciting to welcome new members, a new set of lenses to see the world through and a new set of eyes to review the work of our lenses.
In my relatively short (< 1 yr) membership I found out that reflections is a favorite theme here. You have a beautiful example for that theme. The kaleidoscope effect is truly remarkable. I think it was a good idea to include the banister behind which you were taking this photo. It gives a sense of foundation, of orientation in this otherwise jumbled world.
Kind Regards,
MT

Default To mcmtanyel: Thank you

Thank you for your welcome and your comment, MT. I know what you mean about reflection. Sometimes, I find that that reflected light gives the greatest complexity to the subject, adding accents that I otherwise couldn't capture.
I made sure that the floor of the installation piece was there too - without it, the whole thing would be in a kind of vacuum.
Cheers,
William
