Great kato 2013-08-17 23:04

Hi Razmig,

You're capturing well the entrance gate and the it's wide courtyard by a good angle and excellent tone. The woman who wore red and white clothes are called the shrine maiden. A shrine maiden is a woman who mainly serves God of Japan. A long time ago, although they were doing ancient Shinto music and dance, praying, or acting as fortune-telling, after becoming Meiji era, in the shrine, they did service of the divine work, and changed to the role which assists Shinto priest. Techically, it is better to catch the shrine maiden in the position of the right along which she walks leftward and crop the lower part a little, in my opinion.

Kind regards,
mikio

Default To kato: Hi Kato

Thanks for the information and the technical tips.
Unfortunately I was too late in capturing her walking from the right.
And I guess I could have cropped the bottom a little.
