Great maloutim 2012-09-11 16:33

Hi John,
One would say it's a painting by a Flemish artist. Well yes, that's it ! Beautiful perspective with the trees disappearing in diagonal into the sunset.
Lovely dynamism created by all the skaters. You also caught the texture of the ice very well. I just hope it's strong enough !
With warming globing, do your canals freeze enough to skate every winter ?
Thanks for sharing.
Best wishes.
Marie-Louise.

Default To maloutim: Every ten years

Thanks for your visit.
Answer to your question, skating on the canal happens once every ten
years, there is a permanent control of the ice thickness, the 15 km
long channel on Sunday to 50,000 people attended.
Greetings,
John
