Great ACL1978 2012-09-03 7:49

Fantastic title, and a nice shot under what look like tough light conditions. Very nice presentation - the statues are comical, but meant so incredibly seriously - like so much about life in North Korea. The inclusion of the guard is great, and absolutely does give a sense of scale. I'm fascinated by how you managed to get in for a tour, and looking forward to more shots.

Default To ACL1978: north korea

Thanks Andrew Actually it's not that hard to tour North Korea nowadays. You just have to accept that you'll only go where they want you to go, see what they want you to see, and photograph only things that portray the country in a favourable light. It's not cheap to visit, but there's no other travel experience like it. Most people come back with more questions than answers, and now I see why.
