Great CLODO 2012-05-02 2:08

Hi Bev

I am interesdted by your note, and you give me the idea to follow you, as I go 2 or 3 times a year in Manchester to visit my daughter. Where did you buy your tickets? How long is the cruise?
Due to the weather, the only solution was B&W. It seems that this bridge is linked to nothing!
Regards
CLODO

Smile To CLODO: Manchester Ship Canal

Glad to help, Clodo.
We certainly enjoyed it and with good weather t would have been even better.
You can book online at Manchester Ship Canal Cruises. (£37 or £35, depending on your age)
The ferry has a cafe on board and you can get a beer, if you want.
The journey took a few hours, can't remember exactly how long. When you reach Liverpool, they allow you a couple of hours to look round, then you are returned to Salford Quays by bus.

Hope this helps,
Bev :-)
