Great agjika 2012-05-01 14:51

Hi John,
Lovely and crip photo and the atmosphere is great too. I see you have done some work on the verticals and it looks excellent. There is a strange but interesting purple light in the bottom half of the photo, I wonder where it comes from? The whole thing looks very authentic too.

Thanks for sharing

Aleks

PS. The Scottish photographer I mentioned in my last photo is Duncan McEwan, he had some photos that make you want to go to Scotland tomorrow!

Default To agjika: Purple light..........

Hi Aleks,

Thank you for your kind remarks.

Yes, this whole scene was indoors, inside the museum. The part in the distance (where the blue car is) was lit mainly by daylight coming into the museum through a huge window off to the right, but the part of the reconstructed street nearest to me was much darker and lit by blue/purple lights high in the roof of the museum. That explains the rather strange colours - you can see that blue/purple light on the near roadway and also on the back of the old truck.

Oh, thank you for the name of that photographer - was it this guy?

Kind Regards,

John.
