Hello Cristina,
I don't want to sound like an echo of someone else, but I got the same kind of timeless feeling as Paulo and also the same thought of watching a still from a movie, definitely more likely by Buñuel than Almodóvar. (So maybe the atmosphere is more 50's than 00's after all.) The light is good and so are the contrasts, but honestly I can't really say why I like it. Just two men meeting without seeing each other, nothing is really happening, as far as we know, still there is something very appealing about it.
Kind regards,
Gert

thanks for this personal comment - I like it when people say something about my picture that reveals something about themselves, or what they like ![]() I think sometimes it's the strong contrast I go for that gives some of my photos that atmosphere - I like the b/w cinema of those years, where blacks where blacks and white whites, contours were well defined and light was paramount... men in black suits, white shirts and black ties - I would love to get the chance to photograph a bunch of them ![]() c. |
