Great dgarr 2005-04-02 19:28

Great image Thanh! I love the line pattern created by the earth between the pools. The scene has a very mystical feel with the haze causing the background to fade away. The crispness of the foliage in the forground helps to bring one back to earth. Beautiful! Good eye on your part. -David

Default To dgarr: The overexposed part

Thank you for your rewarding words.
I still be confused myself about the overexposed portion on top of this photo. Of course I could crop it easily, during shooting, or pro-processing at home. It is by purpose I want to leave it in order to hear the comments from our TE friends.

Without the washed-out part, the photo is normal. When I maintain it, you could tell how strong the sun-light was; that kind of sunbeam is an evident that the colors on foreground (yellow, green, red, blue and gray) are natural without Photoshop manipulation.

Anyway, that is my point. Defensing it, I'd never be able to improve.

Can you tell me your opinium on this, please? Thanks.
