Hi John, your notes provide such great bg information .. It amazing that you manage to get two of the six inhabitants in one image- It looks like their paths are likely to meet.. Could it be their destiny.. or has destimy already been and gone.. keep in touch .. from an old hermit .. R

To Ricx: Inhabitants or tourists?
No, I suspect that these two people were (like us) tourists. In fact, there were quite a lot of tourists around that day even though it was quite cool and very misty here high up in the mountains. I think the figure of six inhabitants refers to the six or so people who live here all year round. There are a couple of tavernas which serve good grub so I guess that the people who run them will be there (at least during the daytime) all through the tourist season even although they probably don't live here throughout the year. An interesting place and well worth a visit if you're ever in Corfu. Cheers, John.
