I have Symantec Antivirus Corporate edition.
I've been using different versions of Norton Antivitus and Norton Internet Security Suits and other Symantec software since 1998... and I've never had any serious problems with viruses!

Sometimes I received warnings from Antivirus software about threats when I visited some seemingly innocent pages but it happened mainly when I used to browse the Net with Internet Explorer.. and since some time ago I haven't ever used IE.

Please report if you see further evidence of this; tech has addressed it and the alerts should not be occurring any longer.

Avast a détecté quelque chose, déjà la veille...
Bilan >> Disque dur vidé...
Seule solution, formatage du disque...
J'ai perdu de nombreuses données...

For those who got attacked (Marine, ThierryA), t seems the "system check" virus damage is reversible and it only hides the files from the user.... until it is removed... check your antivirus forums....


Pour les victimes de l'attaque, rassurez vous... ce virus (system check) ne fait que "cacher" les fichiers qui pourront finalement etre récupérés après désinfection... consulter les forums de vos antivirus....

Our friend Sayeed Rahman lost all his files on his computer. All his picture files from years of hard work and travel has simply wiped out in a flash of second.

I really wish the issue to be fixed as soon as possible.

I'm getting updates from our tech team regularly on this; I hope to have an update soon.

Meanwhile we have already added a CAPTCHA to the registration system.
