Dearest Giovanni
I thought you were back in Italy, but I see Spanish streets are just as characteristic as the Umbrian ones. I like the light here, there's a definite air of mystery going on here, especially with the inclusion of the lone man in helf-sillhouette. If I was a betting woman I'd say that blue blue sky's been touched up. But I'm not a betting woman so will say nothing and shut up ;) Anyway, the shadow play and orange tones are really remarkable. Thanks for sharing, and I hope you're enjoying your week.
Un abbraccio
Lisa

Thank you yet again for your kind remarks about this one. Nope, I didn't do anything specifically with the sky at all. Honestly. What I did do was to use "recovery" to some extent on the RAW file to reduce some overly bright areas (which I guess also included the little bit of sky) and in Photoshop Elements I also used the Lighten Shadows/Darken Highlights feature a little to try to balance the light and shade a bit. Nothing more than that and no selective editing of any bits of the picture at all. So there! Un abbraccio! John. |
