Great MJR 2011-05-21 8:26

Rosemary
those dunes are calling ! Sorry, I have not seen your gallery for a while, I have taken a TE holiday, but pleased to be back to find this.
The shapes and colours are pure delight. The tree is a neat detail, even better had it not entered the shadow zone, but thats picky. Its also very difficult to pick up those minor details in the viewfinder, I find !
But lovely, I WILL make it one day !

Smile To MJR: When?

Hello Martin - Nice to see you back and for your kind words. When do you plan to visit Namibia? Any help I can give with your plans please feel free to ask. We are planning a visit "home" in September, I cannot wait!

Best wishes

Rosemary

Default visit

Rosemary
I had hoped to have made it already, but number two son arriving rather put paid to that ! But, next summer.. You may have heard of the latest English eccentricity, trying to raise the land speed record to 1000mph ! I have a picture of the car somewhere in my gallery. Well the attempt is middle 2012 at Hakskeen Pan , North Cape. It may not be the best reason to come out, but it would be momentous, and a fixed date to aim for. So thanks for your offer, I will keep in touch. Equally if you have time or inclination and find yourself 'up north' drop me a line..
best wishes
Martin

Default Sounds Fascinating ...

Hi there Martin - The landspeed record thing sounds mad! We plan to do a road trip around the coast of Scotland but it is still in the "thinking about stage".

Enjoy your Sunday

Default Midges

Rosemary
A trip round the Scottish coast ! Fantastic. I have done most of the west coast over the years; you will not be disappointed. The east is less dramatic of course, but it has its charms - 'Tyro' has posted a few from that side. All I would say, avoid the middle of the summer, the midges WILL spoil your trip !
Right ho - off to the seaside again for a couple of days, having two little boys is such a chore !!
