Great delpeoples 2011-05-12 6:01

Hi Justin

Interesting scene and POV. I'm a curious as to how you shot this (eg. from the hip or more discretely). Because if I'd been this lady and had some guy with a camera jumped out from behind that ball thing, I think I'd die of a heart attack :) Good idea in B&W to bring out the graphical elements of the ball thingy which combines well with the daily life aspect to the shot.

TFS, have a nice evening
Lisa

Default To delpeoples: position

Hi Lisa,
She had no idea is was there. I was a couple of meters back, and pretending to do the tourist thing and shoot the public art, I positioned myself there and reeled of a few shots as people walked past, hoping for someone interesting. I got maybe 15 shots, and this was the most interesting one. I find that using tourist locations is a great way to disguise the intent of street photography, as people assume you are photographing an edifice,
Have a great weekend
Justin
