Great paromitadey 2011-03-28 2:35

Hi Niraj,

A noteworthy note and thought behind the photograph. Quite a heart wrenching and conscience elevating effect afterwards, specially after reading your note and Angshu's comments.

Coming to the photograph. Lovely light and shade effect has brought in life to the photograph and the eyes seem to twinkle with quest, giving depth to your note. I liked the colored version a bit more than Ajay's worshoped image. For me the natural sepia tonal muddy color has more rural impact than the saturated B/W version.
Kudos for the lovely image. Just one thought, my personal view though, I wished the feet of the boy had not got cropped and may be you could have managed to keep the feet adjusting the empty space at the top.

TFS and congratutaions on such a lovely portrait.

Default To paromitadey: Thanks

Many thanks Paromita for your comment... I agree with you that I could have covered his feet also but sometime when you cover spontaneous rural life its hard to get desired composition... But yes this is what a good photographer always try to manage things and yearn for perfection...

Thanks again...
