Great dta 2010-08-10 4:36

Hello Peter ,
This plunging view on these little wooden boats is very pleasant , in a peaceful green scenery . I wonder if it would not be better in a classical format , without the low part and the left one ( I can not do a WS today ) . But this is your choice of framing .
Best regards

Default To dta: Thanks....

...Denis for your kind words.

I did try alternative crops here, but couldn't come up with one I preferred to this one.

My Canon compact camera has a 35mm[equivalent] lens at its widest angle and this squarish format photograph was result of my experimenting with stitching [using MS ICE] two overlapping side by side portrait orientated exposures as a way getting a wider angle result. The posted image is the virtually uncropped result of this stitching

MS ICE also produces surprisingly good results when combining two overlapping landscape exposures one above the other - so that the sky and the lower land area can both be given the right amount of exposure.

Kind regards,

Peter.
