Excuse me my poor English (not my language). May you explain again what do you mean?

I think he just means that it is odd that so many people, all new members, are posting images from the same location at the same time. As long as they are genuinely all different people it shouldn't be a problem.

Post avalanche

Francisco,
I think I understood what was said... there is an avalanche of photos from PRATO, in Italy, all of them posted today, by several new members. Look here, please:
http://pt.trekearth.com/gallery/Euro...Tuscany/Prato/
Maybe he found this coincidence strange.
Abraço,

Cool people from Prato

Now I see, thank you.
In fact, some of those members have strange or funny nicknames: patatina ('little potato'; he posted food), stralunato ('thunderstruck'), sessoconauto ('sex with car', real name: lucia ferrari, and posted a car), cicciolina (posted a church...), trottola ('spinning top'), president, soldato (soldier), iloveprato ('I love Prato'), nonsoloprato ('not only Prato' or 'not only grass'), novellino ('newbie'), etc.. Furtheremore, among the real names there are: massimo querci ('maximum oaks'), galardi massimo, galerdi massimo, massimiliano galardi, romolo galardi, galardi carlo, gamardi gianni.
All wrote the names in lowe case and none wrote an Intro.
Funny coincidences.
Those nicknames may mean nothing wrong. Myself I use a nickname that means "noise of the wind on the leaves of a tree", in a language from Angola.

As the saying goes...I smell a rat.

And btw did someone mention that the pictures are all of similar 'quality', or would that be pushing it?

Exclamation an avalanche

Hi everybody
about photos of Prato... there are now SO MANY of them in the gallery, posted one by one, almost every minute, that it's difficult to see other members' photos among them! They look like a flood, an avalanche! and there are getting more and more of them.....

Please note that I do not have anything against photos of Prato as such!!

But I suspect now that all these photos have been posted only by one and the same person (at most - two), and they are of practically the same quality.

In the TOS it is said: "1. Only one account per user is permitted."

By "per user" I understand a unique IP address. Or am I mistaken?

And for admins it is easy to check it by IP address - just trace the route.....

Bonjour everone,

They all have own IP, so it's possible it's a school project or something like this... And if TOS rules aren't trepassed there is nothing to do about it. We will try to investigate the "why" of this avalanche of Prato pictures... ;o)

Good day, Viviane!
Actually, I didn't think about a possible "school project"... maybe, though I'm not sure. And the IP address can be dynamic, not static.
Anyway, thanks for the "investigation" in advance
