Hi Marie, Hope you are well .. I did not realise that the first iron bridge was built in England. I have just finished reading Ken Follets book - Pillars of the Earth - based in the 12th Century and one of the Characters in the book loves building Cathederals and bridges ( Its a good read) Well done on a great Image and for sharing it.. Hi Richard!
Thanks for your visit! I haven't read the book, but I am interested both in British cathedrals and bridges.
This iron bridge is the pride of the people from the region! Not surprising the first iron bridge was built in England, as this is the place where the Idustrial revolution really started..
As for the cathedrals, I have a few photos talking about them: 102 to 105.
