As said mentioned on numerous occasion by TE members in the forum, it is up to you to decide whether you want to see adds or not. I you do not want to see them: one of many solutions --> Firefox + adblock

I confirm : Forefox and AdBlock extension is perfect to avoid advertising.
You should try it (and it would be useful on other websites too) !

Hello everyone,

I just have a minor point to add about the advertising situation. Yes, we may personally decide to use Firefox + adblock, but what about the viewers that just surf in, or friends that we may suggest TE to? We can't direct everyone to use Firefox. I think there needs to be a scaling back of ads for the appreance of the site in general, and not just for us members.

I am proud to be a TE member, and would like visitors to this site to also like what they see. I know the ads must remain in some form, but I just thought I'd share my point of view. :-)

Yes, after few days it was removed, today those advertisements was come back again to my photo gallery, it is affecting my mood to post photo, too bad. May be I will post only a photo per week start from August 2009 after my next foreign tour, now total daily posting at TE was reduce, before TE launch the new version, total daily posting achieved 26pages X 18 photos, yesterday 11/07/2009 is only 16pages X 18 photos.

One photo per week better than no photo, because normally will feel tired and busy after back from travel, I will try my best, I hope everythings is good after I'm back from my tour.


Cannibalism increased ? Henk. I'm not sure, but I never affect or invite some other leaving TE, they have legs and brain too. Seem have many new members too.
