Yes, the "old" TE was better and especially more clearly arranged!

NO : IMO this version is better,

it needs some serious improvements (as stated above) ; the main problem for me is that I find most of the thumbs blurred and therefore, it's difficult to chose on which ones to click - question of time !

... this is the main reason why I'd like to switch back to the beta version for the time being, can someone explain how to do this ?

Thanks in advance !

Thank you, Teodora : and indeed, the thumbs look much more clear and sharp in the old version, so I'll stick to it for the moment.

No, I donīt want the old version back.

And I have good reasons for that:

- The last time ever I seriously saw someone wearing a cylinder head was during the Japanese capitulation in 1945.
- Twenty years ago with deep regrets I sold my electric IBM typewriter and bought a computer instead.
- I have a big format Rolleiflex from the 1950īs but wouldnīt like to use it in my holidays.
- I support the right of women to vote.

Things move on, and so does the IT-world, and sooner or later the old site would no longer be accepted by new computer systems, and anyway the new site can do all the tricks the old one can and with time will learn new ones we canīt even imagine yet. I liked the old version, but now itīs gone and Iīm sheding no tears for it.

I decided to wait before answering to your referendum. To give a chance for the new site to improve. If changes were made in the first few days, there are no more changes since then. If at least the functionalities were the same with this new site! But they are not all there. We still can't see easily the discussions in the photos being only one example.

I tried this new site. Actually, I'm only using the new version since it's there. I am one who is roaming the web on a daily basis for my work, seeing tons of websites. I have absolutely no problem with changes, especially in the computer world. Except for one of two things (to be able to see the photo when writing the critique, even with long note, is the biggest improvement), I see only a downgrading. I have to do more clicks to get where I want to go. Everything seems more awkward.

For these reasons, my answer is: YES.

Sorry for typing here again, since I already have my "yes" posted, but you should take a look at discussion title "Resale rights". This referendum does not make sense for me anymore after read the TOS content. This is the end.

I prefer the old one by far.
I know some users of this site left, cause of this.
