Default Munich

I'll be in July in Munich for a weekend...what is the best you can do there? And what are the best places to get nice pictures?

I'll be there, too! Actually... I live there. Sorry, I just couldn't resist. ;o)
Anyway, there's lots and lots of things to see and do. It depends what you're looking for. Architecture, people, nature.....? Nymphenburg is always a nice location, for example. The old city center is interesting, too, if you're looking for old buildings, churches and stuff like that. The traditional beer gardens are good for people-spotting.
I'd recommend that you browse the shots here on TE for some inspiration, too.

Hi Oscar,
there are a lot of information on the Munich portal in English availble

Some interesting sites:
the German Museum (take a whole day to visit)
a walk over the "Viktualienmarkt"
the "Alter Hof" near the town hall anf the "Hofbräuhaus"
the Munich Residence
one of the beergardens,
- English Garden with the Chinese Tower
- Augustiner-Kellers near the main raiway station
Castle Nymphenburg

have a nice time in Munich

What to do in Munich... well.. take the train anad come to Appenzell, only 3 hours away ;-)
