Great first post and welcome to trekearth. Now, in spirit of what this site is all about, I have a few points to suggest. It may have been more beneficial to have visited this spot a week or two earlier to capture all the trees' transition. The leaveless trees are a bit of a distraction. Also, the sky is over exposed and could benefit from some post production as well as enhancement to the color of the trees. Otherwise, great job.
