Great Royaldevon 2008-11-07 4:47

Hello Hercules,

This is a completely new aspect of Greece to me! I'm not quite sure why, but it does not look like the Greece that I have visited; perhaps it is the abundance of green trees.
Anyway, it is a fabulous vista of water and land, interlocking like fingers.
The portray style adds to the impression of vastness.
I like how the light creates subtle colour tones on the water and the land.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Default To Royaldevon: New aspect of Greece

Hi Bev!

You are not the only one having this idea about Greece, most people coming from other countries believe that see, sun, sand, islands and summer destination is what Greece is all about. If you have some time to spend just take a look at the note and links of my Notatypicalgreeklandscape photo.

Warm regards, Hercules

PS. Thank you for your kind words about the photo...
