Great bigboroboy 2007-11-29 4:16

Good, clean composition with an uncluttered frame results in the viewer being able to focus totally on that awesome spectacle. I love these kinds of images and this one is noe exception.

Default To fulvio52: mother nature

hey, fulvio. yes, you caught that right. i initially wanted to call the photo "melancholy", but opted for the more neutral "gray solitude" in the end.

thanks for your kind comment.

later,
kristaps

You are absolutely welcome, Kristaps.
This was not an easy shot. With this kind of light I usually end up in a bar, y'know... I'm like : fuggedaboutit.
A tip of the hat to you, buddy!
Later,
Fulvio.

believe me, fulvio. i was tempted ;) about that bar... newport is full of them, you know.

the irony of the day was that mother nature gave us heated summer sunshine while we were driving on the highway and quickly changed the "decorations" to what you see in the picture as soon as we arrived at the coast... in seconds...

cheers,
kristaps

Yeah... I know what you mean. Typical, ain't it?
Last sunday started with beautiful sunshine here in Amsterdam, so... I took doggie and 3 cameras with me (Sony W100, Sony W200 and the Canon 400D), and headed for Zandvoort Beach, 20 miles west of the city. The moment we got there the sun disappeared : hail first, raining cats and dogs second! I ended up in a bar... ahahaha!
Oh, well... s*** happens!

Fulvio.

Backpacking is the answer, buddy!
Those cameras stayed in there ... so I could tell they were mine!
Doggie is always with me, they are pretty open minded about dogs over here, you can take them with you most anywhere.
He loved it in that bar : he got plenty attention & cookies...
Of course... I'm also an AWESOME customer!!! That helps too...
I don't come in to have 1 cup of tea, y'know..
Catch up with you later.
Cheers,
Fulvio.

Fortunately doggie knows his daddy! He's like stitched to my pants... I'm always in his telelens! I'm his favorite subject, man!
Ahahaha!
Cheers, buddy!

Pitbull-labrador, but it looks definitely more like a lab. Sweet as pie!
Mail me, if you like, your private email address at :
f.ferraris@chello.nl
I'll send you a nice picture of him at Zandvoort Beach.
Later,
Fulvio.
