J'ai remarqué que certains membres ont remplacé la photo de leur page de présentation par un petit dessin marrant représentant une trombine d'homme ou femme. Puis-je savoir ou se sont-ils procuré ces petits avatars sympas?
Merci pour la réponse
Christian

But ,as for me, if I am interested in someone's picture, I really want to know what they look like and I love some bio as well. I guess I don't like the hiding behind a persona, so much. I am interested in the photographer as well as the photo. But thats just me!

I also have a slight issue with the avatars. I mean if you have problems with your own picture, then leave it blank and don't put some kind of manga-figure in there...

In a sense, I am wondering more about people who use avatars then I do about people who do not place a picture at all. Not placing your shot can be a conscious choice and/or photographers generally do not like to be in front of the camera I guess. That is an issue we as photographers have to respect and cope with.
But having the feeling that an avatar is a nice replacement for your own picture and gives some kind of 'funny' insight in your personality. Well... I won't say more! ;-)

I don't have any probleme with showing my face and my previous certainly showed it. If you look at the ws of some TE meetings, you will see my face and those of many others who have chosen avatars. Have a look next week.
We're just having fun. Even my kids wanted to do one each :-)
