This one popped up in your randoms, Colin. I hadn't seen it before, but so glad it did because what an amazing shot! The way in which the tree trunks change from solid black to a sort of transparent white, layer by layer through the image, and then disappear in the mist is incredible. Superbly composed and exposed, with a magical atmosphere. This must be one of your best posts to TE. Cheers . . . David

Thank you for your kind comments - it is one of my favourites and I also have one that I took in B&W in the days when I used to carry two camera bodies around. I have given that up now that my right shoulder is now 67 inches lower thand the left. I must admit that the B&W also has that quality about it. It is one of the few pictures that when I pressed the shutter I knew that I had captured something special
