Superb view of that old castle and having the flock in the foreground helps to give the castle a bit of perspective. I like the tomb on the hillside too and am curious about what appears to be two tumbled columns -- did you take a closer look at them?

Hi Silke, In the same area are the roman ruins of Palmyra, which like most Roman ruins, includes many columns. thanks for taking an interest. cheers, Steve
