Default to Adam: new administrative areas of Pakistan NEEDED

the states of Pakistan as available on the TE are incomplete. in particular, Northern Areas are missing!!! so, could you please introduce:

Northern Areas (i think the official name is "Gilgit Agency" but the Northern Areas is more commonly used) - includes subdivision: Baltistan, Hunza (not exclusive list!!!).

...so that i could put my pics under appropriate geography!! one pics which i posted today "playing polo in Baltistan" should be under Northern Areas, and not under NWFP as it is currently. is it possible to change once Northern Areas become available?

many thanks!!!!!

Olga

OK, they have been added, thanks for letting me know. I don't think they are official first order administrative districts which is why they weren't added in initially.

Default thanks!! oh yes they are!

what do you think is the North East part of Pakistan if not Northern Areas?

pls see here
http://edition.cnn.com/TRAVEL/CITY.GUIDES/WORLD/Asia/pakistan/bigmap.html

Azad Kashmir is also missing from the TE map but let me get to it first next time and then i'll ask for it :))

Where do you get your First Order Administrative Districts from? Northern Areas (unfortunately) are a disputed terrotory - with India - a product of one terrible historical mistake around the Partition time - and on Indian maps, i am told, they are shown as part of India. However, I went to Pakistan to visit Northen Areas and it was the Pakistani visa that gave me access to them... so does CNN says...

"what do you think is the North East part of Pakistan if not Northern Areas?"

They are administered by Pakistan, but that does not make them a first order administrative division. This won't affect how they are displayed on this site as I already added them in, but if you find out otherwise please let me know as I'd be curious to know.

"Azad Kashmir is also missing from the TE map"

It's listed under Pakistan on this site. What map are you referring to?

"Where do you get your First Order Administrative Districts from?"

The CIA World Factbook. I think it's possible to purchase the list from the United Nations, although I thought it was available somewehere on the web for free.
