Great JCG 2007-02-09 12:00

Hi Bülent,

Fabulous technique which gives an astonishing result and almost magic. The result is amazing. Still an image which recalls to me a film that I like "Stargate". Thank you for the history lesson which supplements the image.

With all my friendships and a very good weekend.

Default To JCG: Moon about to burst...

Hello Jean-Charles,

With film cameras this could be done, I don't know how to double expose with digital cameras. And with film cameras, there was also some difficulty. In loading the film, with a grease pen, I marked where the frame started exactly. Of course, I unloaded the film manually, in the dark and rolled it up (otherwise it would disappear into the can). The second time I shot it, I would make sure that the grease pen mark was at the same place in the camera.

Among 36 photos I shot in this manner, there were a number of accidents, with the moon crashing into the Capitol Building or getting punctured by the Washington Monument. There were also one or two slides that were that were even better than this one, for example, the impending instant of explosion!

Amicalement,
Buletn
