Thanks for your comment Henryk. The fire issue is very common in most bhutanese temples. it is a tradition for devots and pilgrims to lighten butter lamps when they come to the temples. Those butter lamps are just small cups full of burning oil. they are not very stable and there are hundreds of them side by side on wooden tables that are not stable either. If you add hundreds of people coming and going all day long, and these lamps contnuing to burn at night you start to understand vetter. Also evrything is built out of wood and in such remote places it was very common not to have electricity (which means no pumps for the water when there is a fire). Bhutan is till in middle age in many respects.
