Default workshops - how?

I know this is something most of you TE'rs are quite adept with, but since I'm new.... how do you copy, or save, a photo from TE to do a workshop on it. I mean, what format and exactly how do you copy the picture, and then re-open it in PS to work on it?? Any help will be appreciated.

Hello Janet.

Please, follow these simple steps:

1. Left click on the photo you want to copy. From the menu choose 'COPY'
2. Then go to the Photoshop. Press Control+N (New) and then enter. The PS gets the copied photo size automatically
3. Then, when the blank new image appears, press Control+V (Paste) and the photo will be put automatically at the new image.

Now, you can process the photo as you want. If you want to save, then go: File->Save for the Web. Right down from the image at the left, you can see how big is the photo you want to save. Careful to save images for TE bellow 200kbytes. If the photo is bigger than 200KB, them change the number at the right side of the photo who named "Quality" so much to fit 200KB and less.

Now choose the directory you want to save and give a name to the photo. It's done!

Hope to help you.

Best regards from Greece

Just a minor correction to Xalkida's advice - to get the menu to copy you should RIGHT click on the picture.
