Hello Mike,
When I want to read EXIF data but don't want to load Photoshop, I use this little freeware call ExifReader. It can be found here. I don't know if it works with win98 but it does support many file format and most important camera manufacturers. |

Hello Mike, there's also a simple program, but very nice program called Irfanview, freeware, and if you download the plug-ins, you be able to read your EXIF, with far more details than in photoshop. www.irfanview.com

The software that came with your camera should also allow you to see the EXIF data, but it will be formatted nicely so that you can see date taken, shutter speed, aperture, ISO etc. Also, if you are using Windows, right clicking the photo and looking at the properties should also show you basic information as above. You might have to switch from summary to detailed information.
