Hi Didi. Thanks for your critique. Re the tilt: I thought this was an optical illusion because the bay on the left sweeps towards the eye, but as Kari pointed out above, the top of the mangroves on the left is slightly lower than the horizon on the right. However, when I blow up the original (which includes two stretches of open ocean with true horizon, one of which was cropped away in what I have posted) and put a grid across that, I can see that there is no tilt on the true horizon. The verticals on the reflections of the mangroves in the foreground are also spot-on. So I guess Kari is right about this being some sort of lens distortion. I should have seen this before and tried to correct it with the perspective tool in Photoshop. Cheers . . . David
