Default (torben) Workshop: ah, the title!, 2

With Photoshop I -
Made a copy of the original layer.
Made a copy of the blue channel.
Added the copy of the blue channel as mask to the copy of the original layer.
Inverted the tones of the mask.
Set layer blending mode to "Multiply" on the copy of the original layer.
Added an adjustment layer "Channel Mixer" set to monochrome with the green channel dcreased and the blue channel increased.
Made another copy of the original layer and moved it to the top of the stack.
Set layer blending mode to "Color".
Cropped the left side.

The crop clarifies the composition and puts more emphasis on the arm and the hand.
The increased contrast makes the image more graphic and dynamic.

as you noticed, i didnŽt have gutts to go that further in my crop, but i like yours very very much. it enhances beautifully the graphic qualities of the image, thanks.
as for the post processing with layers, oh, this is something still quite mysterious for me, but iŽll learn ;)
