Great sarju 2005-05-31 21:23

Its a pretty sad photo Henk ... but than it is also very well composed and conveys the message very well so full points to you. I like it over exposed as it enhaces the hotness felt by the people in the photo
Having grown up in North India and I had to go thru high temperatures once in a while ... but than I never really had to work in a quarry .... don't you sometimes think that there is no justice in the world ... I mean we consume so many resources in the west ... and than these people ..... neways thats enough thoughts for today ....
Cheers ... sarju
PS: btw are are aware of the works of Chantal Boulager ... I think she died earlier this year ... I thought you might know her since she was considered such an authority on Dravidian culture in the west.

I cheked the link and I belive I saw it once before but I lost it so thanks to bring me there again.
I think we have the same target and she as a woman spots women more then me, maybe with the time I can accomplish a good addition on her work mainly on Tamil Nadu but selling pictures by the internet never crossed my mind and maybe never will, I would prefer to keep the link with my notes as you read them from the start a lot of info is there already, building it up with more spots.

Thanks for this compliment referring to her work, it can help to target other issues.
