Very impressive technique with the motor. You must be really good at math to have calculated how fast the motor should move! Or was it just guessing and checking?Excellent shot. Congratulations!

To tuffellow: Motor speed
I calibrated the speed and tested the motor for a few nights in a row prior to the eclipse date. I took some test photos (with long exposures) at various speeds and determined which speed was most accurate.
