Yes, the strong colours are a major feature of this striking image. The blue is courtesy of BetFred, which you've cunningly left out of the shot! A nice combination of strong straight lines and the organic curves of the wickerwork. What a nice weekend!

You are correct. In fact I took several pictures and they were all spoilt by the BedFred signs - they didn't seem to be appropriate in such an ancient market! This was taken on Friday morning before we got to Church Stretton. The weekend was super and I enjoyed everyone's company so much - I hope that you will join us again. I was very envious of your walk up the Long Mynd as I missed my usual 3 x 6 mile walks that week but unfortunately we had duties at the camera club Monday evening. Best wishes, Ann
