Hi, Gert,
Good snapshot, indeed. Oh, I like these vegetables on the summer table too. Good eye-catching composition, vivid colours and perfect sharpness.
Few days ago I have read about Ixus 1000. I like the Canon products, but the expert said this is not the best model of cheap Canon + weak battery. What can you say about this "soap box".

I think that expert may be up to something. I was more satisified with my earlier 750. This one has a stronger zoom, but on the other hand it loses sharpness and exposure at a maximum close-up. It also annoyed me often during this recent journey that I had to recharge the battery "all the time". Also when taking vertical pictures I frequently start filming unintendedly because that button is stupidly placed. Regards, Gert
